Mobile Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Passionate about quality and eager to advance their automation career, the full-time Mobile Automation Engineer will test native iOS and Android applications, manage test suites using Playwright, BrowserStack, and GitHub Actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and rewrite Playwright test suites for the iOS and Android driver app, especially during the upcoming full app overhaul
• Execute structured test plans and manual regression testing to validate release quality while diagnosing and resolving flaky tests
• Run and maintain parallelized test suites via BrowserStack and GitHub Actions, ensuring efficient execution times

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in QA/test automation, with equivalent hands-on experience accepted in place of a degree
• Hands-on experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android
• Experience with Playwright and TestRail platform
• Strong ability to troubleshoot flaky tests and distinguish engineering issues from test-execution issues
• Ability to quickly learn how interconnected systems function to design thorough test coverage
