Mobile Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a passionate Mobile Automation Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for writing and maintaining Playwright test suites for iOS and Android applications, executing structured test plans, and diagnosing flaky tests to ensure high-quality delivery logistics technology.
Key responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and rewrite Playwright test suites for the iOS and Android driver app, including during the upcoming full app overhaul
- Execute structured test plans and manual regression testing to validate release quality and maintain parallelized test suites via BrowserStack and GitHub Actions
- Diagnose and resolve flaky tests, distinguishing between test-execution issues and engineering defects while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in QA/test automation or equivalent hands-on experience
- Hands-on experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android
- Experience with Playwright and TestRail platforms
- Strong ability to troubleshoot flaky tests and understand interconnected systems
- Ability to overlap with the team's morning ET sync meeting
