Mobile Core Engineer

Job Summary

Analyzing, designing, implementing, and verifying subscriber data management nodes across 2G to 5G infrastructure, the full-time Remote HLR / HSS / UDM Mobile Core Engineer will manage HLR, HSS, UDR, and UDM platforms, ensuring high availability and data integrity while supporting MVNO onboarding and incident management.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and operate subscriber data management platforms across various network generations, ensuring reliability and integrity
• Design and maintain workflows for subscriber provisioning, including IMSI/MSISDN management and service profiles
• Implement and verify interfaces connecting subscriber data nodes to core network elements, while monitoring KPIs and managing incidents

Required qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in core network engineering with a focus on subscriber data management
• BSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent; post-graduate studies are a plus
• Hands-on experience with HLR, HSS, UDR, or UDM platforms, including cloud-native deployments
• Deep operational knowledge of signaling stacks and protocols such as MAP and Diameter
• Familiarity with 2G to 5G core architectures and their subscriber data flows
