Mobile Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing engineering organization, the full-time salaried Mobile Engineering Director will set the technical direction for mobile and backend teams, define engineering strategy, and ensure the delivery of innovative, scalable solutions in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and grow engineering teams across mobile (iOS/Android) and backend development, delivering reliable products end-to-end
• Define and execute the engineering strategy, aligning technical initiatives with product and business goals
• Establish engineering standards and processes, ensuring consistency and scalability across the technical stack

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including mobile and backend development
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams and managing engineering managers
• Deep expertise in modern mobile development (Swift/SwiftUI and/or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose) and backend fundamentals
• Experience defining architecture and technical standards at an organizational level
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional strategy and partner with Product and Design teams
