Mobile Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading two high-impact mobile pods, the remote Mobile Engineering Manager will oversee cross-platform strategy, enhance product delivery, and cultivate engineering talent while managing a team of approximately 13-14 engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the mobile platform strategy, focusing on performance optimization and architectural simplification
• Lead customer-facing feature development, ensuring high-quality mobile experiences and disciplined engineering practices
• Manage and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and technical excellence

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mobile engineering (Android/iOS) and 3+ years in engineering management
• Deep experience in at least one native stack (Android or iOS) and strong understanding of cross-platform tradeoffs
• Proven track record in leading platform modernization initiatives and managing multi-team technical migrations
• Experience with modern mobile CI/CD systems and improving application performance metrics
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and strategy development
