Leading a team of developers, the full-time remote Mobile Engineering Manager will focus on enhancing the customer experience across iOS and Android by coaching team members, guiding technical decisions, and partnering with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of developers through feedback, mentorship, and career development
- Guide the delivery of new features and technical improvements while managing risks and removing obstacles
- Communicate priorities and progress, connecting engineering work to customer and business goals
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of development experience, including mobile application development
- Experience with React Native and TypeScript or leading teams that utilize these technologies
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, focusing on coaching and performance management
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, and testing
- Experience collaborating with Product, Design, Accessibility, and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
