Mobile Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of mobile engineers, the full-time Mobile Engineering Team Lead will own the technical direction and delivery of native and cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android, working remotely while actively coding, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full delivery lifecycle of mobile applications, including scoping, architecture, implementation, and post-release monitoring
• Own the mobile technical roadmap, managing platform strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and store submission processes
• Set and enforce engineering standards, driving a test-first culture and ensuring the team meets defined quality thresholds

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in production mobile application development
• 2+ years in a tech lead or engineering management role with delivery responsibility
• Strong expertise in iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode) and Android development (Kotlin, Android Studio)
• Deep understanding of mobile delivery processes, including CI/CD, feature flagging, and analytics tooling
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools with a clear philosophy on their benefits and risks
