Mobile Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the mobile modernization effort, the full-time remote Mobile Principal Engineer will define the mobile platform architecture, drive technical standards, and write production mobile code for iOS and Android applications used by millions globally.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and own the mobile platform architecture, including app structure and shared component strategy
• Lead technical scoping and execution of mobile modernization efforts, coordinating with cross-functional partners
• Mentor engineers and set technical standards through code and architecture reviews

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in senior or principal roles
• Deep expertise in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) with production-level experience in both
• Experience with AI-driven SDLC tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
• Track record of leading mobile platform architecture decisions and modernization efforts
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
