Mobile Service Technician

Job Summary

Mastering all aspects of preventative maintenance, the full-time Mobile Service Technician III will perform advanced diagnostics, major repairs, and training of other technicians while working both remotely and in the shop.

Key responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to assess damage or malfunction and provide preventative maintenance solutions
• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus
• 7+ years of experience in repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers
• Diagnostic and training experience
• Air Brake Certification
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; Class A CDL preferred
