Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Mobile Telecom Support Engineer will monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate real-time core network issues while collaborating with the telecom and engineering teams to maintain optimal network performance.

Key responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting complex mobile network issues and analyzing end-to-end call traces across various protocols
  • Providing technical support to NOC engineers and liaising with mobile network operators for fault resolution
  • Developing KPIs and training materials to enhance mobile network performance and troubleshooting practices
Required qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in a telecom environment, specifically in L3 support or similar roles
  • Strong knowledge of protocol signaling analysis in 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE networks
  • Solid understanding of the OSI model and TCP/IP networking (IPv4 and IPv6)
  • Experience with tools like Wireshark, Grafana, Prometheus, and ElasticSearch
  • Basic knowledge of Python, Linux, and Bash scripting
