Model-Based Engineering Section Leader

Job Summary

Seeking a Model-Based Engineering Section Leader in the Electronic Systems sector, this full-time hybrid role will manage a team focused on applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes and tools, while also contributing technically to MBE programs and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with peer managers to staff programs with MBE CG team members and develop strategies for optimizing organizational performance
• Utilize knowledge of MBSE processes and tools to guide programs through development activities and build models using best practices
• Monitor industry trends and lead continuous improvement activities to ensure adoption of innovative practices within the organization

Required qualifications

• Active US Government Secret security clearance (with ability to possess TS)
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 10 years of Systems Engineering experience
• Proven experience leading technical teams in a matrixed organization
• Technical proficiency in architectural model development using UML and/or SysML with relevant tools
• Experience in architectural model development or leading teams that develop model-based architectural models
