Model-Based Enterprise Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Model-Based Enterprise Principal Engineer will lead digital engineering initiatives, drive Model-Based Definition (MBD) adoption, and oversee supplier enablement programs to enhance data reusability and digital transformation across engineering and manufacturing environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and execution of customer-aligned digital engineering and MBE initiatives
- Own and drive supplier enablement programs, including capability assessments and digital transformation roadmaps
- Define and govern MBD standards and practices, transitioning from traditional 2D to scalable model-based workflows
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD) in a Siemens NX CAD platform
- 3+ years of experience leading MBD or similar digital transformations
- Advanced knowledge of model-based engineering standards and practices, including ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.41
