Model-Based Enterprise Principal Engineer

Job Summary

To support customer initiatives in digital transformation, the full-time remote Model-Based Enterprise Principal Engineer will lead technical strategies for Model-Based Definition (MBD) adoption, manage supplier enablement programs, and oversee the governance of MBD standards and practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of customer-aligned digital engineering and MBE initiatives, driving MBD adoption across various environments
• Own supplier enablement and digital transformation programs, guiding suppliers toward advanced MBE maturity
• Define and govern MBD standards, ensuring quality of datasets and transitioning from traditional practices to scalable workflows

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience applying Model-Based Definition (MBD) within a Siemens NX CAD platform
• 3+ years of experience leading MBD or similar digital transformations
• Advanced knowledge of model-based engineering standards and interoperability formats for downstream data consumption
