Model Process Manager

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end documentation and improvement of model development processes, the remote Model Process Manager will create consistency across business verticals, enhance pipeline visibility, and drive operational improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the process playbook for model development and related approval flows across all verticals
• Establish a centralized view of all models in flight and ensure clear handoff documentation at every stage
• Act as the operational point of contact for credit and model risk management oversight

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, project coordination, or program operations in financial services or data-heavy environments
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
• Proven track record of documenting and improving processes by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes
• Experience in calibrating escalations to leadership appropriately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity in ownership, status, and next steps
