Model Risk Governance Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of data scientists and governance professionals, the full-time remote Model Risk Governance Manager will set the strategy for model governance, oversee performance monitoring and validation, and manage relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team focused on model risk governance and validation
• Own the execution of performance monitoring, governance documentation, and change management processes
• Prepare validation reports and governance documentation for internal leadership and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, validation, or governance, with experience building governance teams
• 4+ years of people management experience in a relevant field
• Deep knowledge of model governance regulations and experience in a regulated environment
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to analyze model methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics, or Engineering
