Model Risk Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing key pillars within model risk governance teams, the full-time remote Model Risk Manager will create, manage, and enforce policies based on regulatory requirements while facilitating stakeholder communications and training programs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder communications regarding changes in model risk management policies and procedures
• Conduct training sessions to ensure consistent understanding of model risk management expectations
• Develop centralized reporting and oversee remediation of key model risk issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a business-related field with a minimum of 9 years' relevant work experience, including 2 years in a managerial role
• Ability to write basic SQL scripts for data extraction
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and proficiency in Excel, with experience in business analytic tools like Tableau or PowerBI
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing internal audit or regulatory exams
• Experience developing and delivering training programs across various topics
