Modeling Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the standup and expansion of the FACET actuarial modeling platform
• Collaborate with model developers and end users for timely delivery of functionalities
• Ensure proper design, change management, and documentation of modeling processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field
• 7+ years of actuarial experience in Life Insurance, Annuity products or ALM environments
• Proficient in Python, Julia, SQL, GitHub, and standard modeling tools
• Experience with transitioning from vendor modeling platforms to internal solutions is preferred
• Familiarity with open-source development practices and testing frameworks is preferred
