Modeling Consultant

Job Summary

To support a client in the consulting domain, the contract Modeling Consultant will perform modeling and display building tasks for Transmission Energy Management Systems (TMS), focusing on database modeling and troubleshooting real-time network applications, while working remotely for a duration of 12+ months.

Key responsibilities

• Perform modeling and display building tasks for Transmission Energy Management Systems (TMS)
• Conduct habitat and database modeling, along with troubleshooting real-time network applications
• Interpret engineering drawings and support study network applications such as load flow and contingency analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related IT field
• 2-5+ years of relevant experience in modeling and display building
• Experience with Alstom Grid/GE Habitat and database modeling environment
• Familiarity with computer programming/scripting is a plus
• Basic electrical system knowledge is desirable
