Molecular Assay Scientist
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Scientist to support molecular assay design and development in San Diego, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Support molecular assay design and development using qPCR and RT-qPCR methodologies
- Conduct feasibility studies and assist in selecting optimal technical approaches for nucleic acid detection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and troubleshoot assay-related issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience within molecular assay development is required
- Strong background in molecular biology techniques is required
- Experience working within an FDA or ISO 13485 industry is preferred
