Molecular Epidemiologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FSP Epidemiologist/Senior Epidemiologist specializing in Molecular Epidemiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of epidemiologic studies using large administrative and electronic health records data
• Collaborate with the lead epidemiologist to develop analysis plans for real-world data studies
• Communicate study findings through presentations and assist in drafting conference abstracts and manuscripts

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in epidemiology or relevant fields with at least 2 years of post-degree experience, or a master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in developing analysis plans and conducting observational studies using real-world EMR or claims data
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R) and familiarity with statistical methodologies for observational studies
• Knowledge of large healthcare databases and familiarity with population biobanks or genomic databases is a plus
• General knowledge of the drug discovery and development process
