Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Molecular Scientist II, this full-time remote position will design, develop, and optimize molecular assays while managing client projects and ensuring compliance with quality standards in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and troubleshoots molecular assays including Sanger Sequencing, NGS, and PCR-based methodologies
• Authors development and validation documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure assays meet scientific and operational requirements

Required qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in life, physical, or computer science; Ph.D. preferred
• 14+ years of experience with B.S., 8+ years with M.S., or 2+ years with Ph.D
• Experience developing and scaling molecular assays in a regulated environment
• Familiarity with CAP/CLIA requirements and oncology biomarker testing
• Strong understanding of documentation and training frameworks in a GxP-regulated laboratory
