MongoDB Technical Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MongoDB Technical Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and evolve the MongoDB architecture for scalability and performance
• Make planned changes to the data access layer and services by diving into the application codebase
• Develop best practices for data modeling, schema design, and query performance, while troubleshooting complex database issues

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture with a focus on MongoDB
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing MongoDB sharding in a production environment
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Typescript/Node.js preferred)
• Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of MongoDB internals, including aggregation framework and indexing
