Job Summary
Leading 24/7 monitoring operations for a mission-critical cloud environment, the full-time remote Monitoring and Incident Management Manager will oversee incident response governance, application monitoring, and operational situational awareness to ensure proactive detection and resolution of production issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Govern all platform and application monitoring, ensuring automated alerts detect production issues before user-reported tickets
- Coordinate and lead all major incident management events, including priority troubleshooting calls and executive communications during critical incidents
- Maintain 24/7 active alert monitoring coverage and deliver comprehensive incident reports and briefings to government stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in cloud platform operations, monitoring engineering, and incident management
- Proficient in enterprise monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace and Splunk
- Knowledge of AWS GovCloud monitoring capabilities and integration with third-party observability tools
- Experience supporting Federal Government programs and enterprise-scale applications in cloud or hybrid environments
