Job Summary

Montana Licensed Trauma Registrar, a part-time position responsible for retrieving, abstracting, analyzing, and entering clinical and demographic data into the trauma registry database in accordance with relevant guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, abstract, and process patient data according to trauma registry standards
  • Analyze trauma patient records for accuracy and compliance, generating reports for quality review
  • Assist with trauma-related education, outreach activities, and documentation for committee meetings
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Trauma Registry Course within one year of hire
  • Completion of the AAAM Injury Scale Course within one year of hire
  • Completion of an ICD-10-CM course within the last five years or within one year of hire
  • Preferred: College or vocational training in healthcare and current Montana EMT licensure
