Job Summary
Montana Licensed Trauma Registrar, a part-time position responsible for retrieving, abstracting, analyzing, and entering clinical and demographic data into the trauma registry database in accordance with relevant guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve, abstract, and process patient data according to trauma registry standards
- Analyze trauma patient records for accuracy and compliance, generating reports for quality review
- Assist with trauma-related education, outreach activities, and documentation for committee meetings
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Trauma Registry Course within one year of hire
- Completion of the AAAM Injury Scale Course within one year of hire
- Completion of an ICD-10-CM course within the last five years or within one year of hire
- Preferred: College or vocational training in healthcare and current Montana EMT licensure
