Moodle Technical Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Moodle Technical SME/Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority on Moodle Workplace solutions, providing expertise in configuration, administration, and integration
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement enhancements aligned with Army training goals
• Manage Moodle Workplace configuration, including the development of new plugins and advanced troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• 3+ years of direct experience in Moodle administration, configuration, and customization
• Proven experience troubleshooting Moodle Workplace beyond the GUI, including cron job management and PHP debugging
• Proficiency in database development (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Possession of applicable DoD 8140 cybersecurity workforce qualification or ability to complete within six months
