Job Summary

A company is looking for a Default Associate, Mortgage Assistance Quality Control.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality control reviews on loss mitigation files to ensure compliance with guidelines and internal policies
• Verify accuracy of financial information and validate eligibility of workout options
• Document inconsistencies, prepare reports on audit findings, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve errors

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mortgage loss mitigation, underwriting, or quality control
• Deep understanding of mortgage regulations including RESPA, TILA, ECOA, and HMDA
• Proficiency in mortgage servicing systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and meet strict deadlines
