Mortgage Claims Processor

Job Summary

To support a dynamic claims department, the full-time Mortgage Claims Processor will manage the processing of insurance claim documents and inquiries for multiple coverage types, ensuring efficient filing and tracking while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identifies coverage, sets up new claims, and assigns appropriate adjusters or vendors in the claims system
• Handles incoming correspondence and calls to assist clients, borrowers, and third-party administrators, while documenting claims status and inquiries
• Maintains daily trackers, uploads imaging documents, and reconciles weekly claim reserves for accurate reporting

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one year of experience in similar duties, with auto insurance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of word processing and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Able to type 45 WPM accurately and perform sedentary activities for extended periods
