Mortgage Closing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication among all parties involved in closing transactions to ensure a seamless process from CD preparation to final closing documents
• Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to gather necessary closing documentation and information
• Review loan files for compliance with State and Federal guidelines and ensure timely issuance of closing documents and funding

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree plus a minimum of 2 years' prior mortgage experience, or a combined 4 years' higher education and/or work experience including 2 years' mortgage experience
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
• Specialized knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and policies
• Ability to make sound decisions based on provided information and work independently within time constraints
• Notary Public certification preferred
