Mortgage Closing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication among all parties involved in closing transactions, ensuring a seamless process from CD preparation to issuance of final closing documents
• Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to gather necessary documentation for closing
• Review loan files for compliance with state and federal guidelines and ensure timely funding of loans

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree plus a minimum of 2 years' prior mortgage experience, or a combined 4 years' higher education and/or work experience including 2 years' mortgage experience
• Strong PC skills and knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
• Specialized knowledge of product regulations and policies
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under time constraints
• Notary Public certification preferred
