Mortgage Closing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage team, the temporary Mortgage Closing Specialist will manage the submission of loans for Closing Disclosure issuance, ensuring data accuracy and collaborating with various parties to meet target close dates while working remotely for a duration of 3 to 6 months.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and submit necessary documentation for Closing Disclosure issuance, ensuring data accuracy
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the closing process to ensure a seamless experience
• Review files for compliance with State and Federal guidelines and manage pipeline reporting

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of business experience
• Minimum 3 years of combined client closing and customer service experience
• Experience in issuing initial and final Closing Disclosures and related documents
• Solid knowledge of mortgage closing processes and compliance requirements
