Mortgage Closing Specialist II

Job Summary

To ensure a seamless closing experience, the full-time remote Mortgage Closing Specialist II will manage the collection, review, and preparation of loan information for Closing Disclosure issuance while collaborating with various parties to adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in the closing process, from preparation to issuance of final closing documents
• Obtain necessary closing documentation and perform thorough reviews to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Validate fees, submit wires to fund loans, and report any issues with closing documents to management

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of prior mortgage experience, or a combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience including 2 years in mortgage
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
• Specialized knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and policies
• Ability to make sound decisions and function independently in a fast-paced environment
• Notary Public certification is preferred
