Mortgage Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Managing delinquent mortgage accounts, the full-time Mortgage Collections Specialist will perform proactive outreach, monitor accounts, and negotiate payment solutions while maintaining strong relationships with owners in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact borrowers regarding past-due mortgage payments and educate them on account status and payment options
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and reconcile customer accounts in partnership with the mortgage team
• Escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts to appropriate internal or external resources as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, collections, mortgage servicing, or a related role
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese strongly preferred
• Auto-dialer experience preferred
• Experience in collections, hospitality, real estate, or vacation ownership environments preferred
