Mortgage Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Managing delinquent mortgage accounts, the full-time Mortgage Collections Specialist will proactively reach out to borrowers, negotiate payment solutions, and maintain accurate account documentation while working in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact borrowers regarding past-due mortgage payments and monitor accounts to resolve delinquencies
• Negotiate payment plans within company guidelines and educate owners on account status and options
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance mortgage collection processes and ensure exceptional customer service

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, collections, or mortgage servicing
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese strongly preferred
• Experience with auto-dialer systems preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
