Mortgage Compliance Manager
Job Summary
Overseeing compliance for the Mortgage team, the full-time salaried Mortgage Compliance Manager will manage compliance policies, licensing, and training while working remotely to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on compliance matters related to mortgage loan processing and origination, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations
- Manage the obtaining, maintaining, and renewal of corporate and individual mortgage licenses, including tracking continuing education requirements
- Develop and deliver training materials on mortgage-related compliance policies and procedures to employees
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of residential mortgage compliance experience in loan processing, origination, or underwriting
- Substantial knowledge of state and federal residential mortgage consumer protection compliance laws, including RESPA and CFPB regulations
- Experience in developing compliance policies, procedures, and training programs
- Ability to interpret regulations and provide practical guidance to business leaders
- Bachelor's degree preferred
