Mortgage Compliance Manager
Job Summary
To support the mortgage compliance team, the full-time salaried Mortgage Compliance Manager will oversee compliance policies, manage licensing requirements, and provide training to staff, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with federal and state mortgage regulations, ensuring adherence to laws such as RESPA and TILA
- Manage the acquisition and renewal of mortgage licenses and monitor continuing education requirements for staff
- Develop and deliver training programs on mortgage compliance policies and procedures to employees
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of residential mortgage compliance experience in loan processing, origination, or underwriting
- Substantial knowledge of state and federal mortgage consumer protection laws and regulations
- Experience in developing compliance policies and employee training programs
- Ability to interpret regulations and provide practical compliance guidance
- Bachelor's degree preferred
