Mortgage Consultant - Texas Licensed

Job Summary

Managing an active pipeline of loan applications, the full-time Mortgage Consultant - Texas Licensed will consult with consumers throughout the loan application process, ensuring successful conversions and maintaining relationships with Realtors and other stakeholders in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and convert loan applications to achieve monthly closing goals while maintaining margin objectives
• Gather loan application data and provide consumers with expert guidance to assist in their loan decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with consumers, Realtors, and corporate clients to enhance referral opportunities and resolve issues

Required qualifications

• Must hold a Texas Mortgage Consultant license and register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the NMLS
• Two years of mortgage origination or loan operations experience preferred
• Completion of specialized mortgage lending courses is preferred
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, guidelines, and regulations is preferred
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a customer service orientation
