Mortgage Consultant - Texas Licensed

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage team, the full-time Mortgage Consultant - Texas Licensed will manage an active pipeline of loan applications, consult with consumers throughout the loan process, and foster relationships with Realtors and other stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and convert loan applications to maximize monthly closings while ensuring excellent customer service
• Gather loan application data and provide expert guidance to assist consumers in making informed loan decisions
• Build and maintain relationships with consumers, Realtors, and corporate clients to enhance referral opportunities and resolve issues

Required qualifications

• Two years of mortgage origination or loan operations experience preferred
• Must register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the NMLS and comply with Federal and State S.A.F.E. regulations
• Completion of specialized mortgage lending courses is preferred
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, guidelines, and regulations is preferred
• Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
