Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate contact with consumers in early stages of mortgage loan default to collect past due payments
• Collect financial information, assess repayment ability, and arrange repayment plans as necessary
• Handle inbound calls regarding mortgage loan products and communicate state-specific compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• A combined 2 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Collections experience is preferred
• Knowledge of company systems is preferred
