Mortgage Direct Loan Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Direct Loan Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new mortgage business through referral sources such as realtors and past clients
• Conduct outbound calling and selling to member leads and credit union provided non-member leads
• Take accurate and complete first mortgage loan applications, collect initial documentation, and forward to the processing unit

Required Qualifications:

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field OR 3 years of experience as a Consumer Direct Loan Officer
• Knowledge of credit union products, mortgage guidelines, and current market conditions
• Ability to set proper borrower expectations and work with members and processing to facilitate a smooth and timely member experience
• Adherence to compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, applicable state and federal laws, company procedures, and policies
• Ability to originate quality applications that meet product guidelines
