Mortgage Escrow Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage escrow-related tasks for Loan Servicing, including payment of taxes and insurance, escrow analysis, and collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle payment and reconciliation of property taxes, insurance, and mortgage insurance for impounded loans
- Prepare and issue annual escrow analysis statements and initial escrow statements, ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations
- Monitor delinquent taxes and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely follow-up and reporting
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or related financial services
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and escrow analysis procedures
- Ability to work on a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Proficiency in researching tax and insurance-related information
- Familiarity with loan servicing processes and property tax payment systems
