Mortgage Insuring Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage team, the full-time remote Mortgage Insuring Specialist will validate loan file information, manage a daily pipeline of loans, and ensure compliance with government agency guidelines to obtain required mortgage insurance certificates.

Key responsibilities

• Pay upfront fees and accurately record transactions in Encompass
• Review and request missing documents to ensure compliance with government guidelines
• Verify loan file data and promptly insure eligible loans through FHA Connection, VA WebLGY, and USDA LINC

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in paying and insuring government loans
• 3+ years of experience in loan processing and insuring, preferred
• Familiarity with government agency websites and insuring platforms
• Knowledge of government agency fees and loan processes
