Job Summary

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Licensing Department, the full-time remote Mortgage Licensing Specialist will ensure compliance with state and federal licensing requirements for mortgage loan originators while overseeing licensing applications, renewals, and regulatory filings.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate licensing records and monitor regulatory updates to ensure compliance
  • Assist in the timely submission and management of licensing applications and renewals through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance Departments on research, reporting, and special projects as needed
Required qualifications
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Compliance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a role involving sensitive information management
  • Experience with state and federal mortgage licensing requirements and regulatory filings
  • Familiarity with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
