Mortgage Loan Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting a high-performing Loan Officer, the full-time Mortgage Loan Assistant will manage the day-to-day flow of mortgage files, coordinate communication with clients and business partners, and ensure efficient loan progression from application through closing in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, review, and verify borrower documentation, including income, assets, and credit information
• Prepare complete and accurate loan applications for submission and maintain organized loan files
• Serve as the primary liaison between Loan Officers, clients, and other parties, providing timely loan status updates

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Assistant or Mortgage Loan Processor
• Proficiency with Encompass Loan Origination System preferred
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage loan origination software
