Job Summary
Working remotely in the Eastern Standard Time Zone, the full-time Mortgage Loan Funder will be responsible for accurately processing mortgage loan fundings through multiple warehouse banks while ensuring compliance with various requirements and managing competing priorities in a multi-pipeline environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process mortgage loan fundings and review loan files for completeness and accuracy before funding
- Identify and communicate funding discrepancies and required corrective actions prior to fund release
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve funding issues within strict deadlines
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of direct mortgage funding experience, including warehouse funding
- Hands-on experience with Encompass and processing mortgage funding wires
- Strong knowledge of multiple mortgage loan products and funding requirements
- Ability to independently research and resolve complex funding issues
- Experience managing multiple loans and competing priorities in a remote environment
