Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Summary

Managing a pipeline of mortgage loan files, the full-time Mortgage Loan Processor will serve as the primary contact for borrowers, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete for underwriting, while working remotely across the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Process mortgage loan files from opening to closing, taking ownership and coordinating with all involved parties
• Assemble required loan documents to meet underwriting guidelines and conduct follow-ups with borrowers
• Review documentation for accuracy, perform data validation, and update relevant notes in the system

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• 2+ years of mortgage processing experience preferred
• Proficiency in Empower or other mortgage loan applications
• Knowledge of mortgage concepts, practices, and Fannie/Freddie guidelines
