Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Summary

Managing the documentation and administrative requirements of the loan application process, the full-time Mortgage Loan Processor will ensure accurate and efficient loan processing in compliance with regulations while providing excellent service to loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness, collecting and verifying supporting documentation
• Act as the primary point of contact for Loan Officers and borrowers, providing timely updates on loan status
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations while maintaining accurate records in the loan origination system

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years processing experience in a correspondent lending environment
• Proficiency in DU/DO, LP, GUS, FHA Connection, and VA Portal
• Knowledge of various loan programs including FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, and MHFA
• Ability to calculate income for self-employed borrowers
• Proficiency with mortgage processing systems and Microsoft Office
