Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Summary

To assist members throughout the loan process, the full-time Mortgage Loan Processor will ensure that all loan application files are complete, coordinate closing efforts, and maintain communication with all parties involved while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Review residential loan application files for completeness and compliance with credit union standards
• Prepare and submit mortgage and home equity loan application files for underwriting approval
• Maintain ongoing member contact, request documentation, and keep all parties informed of loan status

Required qualifications:

• One to three years of related experience in mortgage processing or a similar role
• Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
• Must pass registration based on the SAFE Act requirements or already be registered
• Proficiency in Microsoft software and internet navigation
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence others
