Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Mortgage Loan Processor will manage the processing of mortgage loans by gathering and analyzing documentation, ensuring compliance with loan guidelines, and facilitating communication with borrowers to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze documentation to take each loan application from setup to closing
• Contact borrowers and referral sources within 72 hours of application receipt
• Submit loans to underwriting and clear all conditions to ensure timely closing

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a loan processing role, handling loans from start to finish
• Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor, or loan officer
• Experience processing conventional, FHA, and VA loans
• Proficiency in Encompass software is required
• Strong background in calculating income is preferred
