Mortgage Loan Processor
Job Summary
Managing the documentation and administrative requirements of the loan application process, the full-time Mortgage Loan Processor will ensure accurate and efficient loan processing while maintaining compliance with regulations and providing excellent service to loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness, and submit complete loan files to underwriting within established timelines
- Act as the primary point of contact for Loan Officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors, providing updates on loan status
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and investor regulations while maintaining accurate records in the loan origination system
Required qualifications
- Minimum of two years processing experience in a correspondent lending environment
- Proficiency in DU/DO, LP, GUS, FHA Connection, and VA Portal
- Knowledge of various loan programs including FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, and MHFA
- Ability to calculate income, including for self-employed borrowers
- Proficiency with mortgage processing systems and Microsoft Office
