Mortgage Loan Purchase Specialist

Job Summary

Receiving and purchasing loans from third-party lenders, the full-time Mortgage Loan Purchase Specialist will ensure compliance with bank and regulatory guidelines while communicating with various stakeholders to resolve documentation issues in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Review loans for compliance with bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines
• Communicate with lenders and title companies to resolve outstanding documentation issues
• Prepare and submit loan packages to the Secondary/Pooling Unit and government entities for insurance/guaranty

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of loan processing, closing, and funding policies
• Experience in mortgage industry documentation review and compliance requirements preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data entry skills
